Oneida-Herkimer Waste Authority Launches Household Hazardous Waste Facility on April 1
The Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority will open its Household Hazardous Waste facility for Oneida and Herkimer county residents on April 1, operational until September 30. Located at 824 Sewage Plant Rd. in North Utica, the facility accepts a wide range of hazardous items, including paints, solvents, pesticides, and cleaners, operating Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. This initiative aims to facilitate safe disposal and mitigate the risks linked to improper hazardous waste disposal.
