Celebrating Young Scholars: A Dinner Honoring Program's Achievements and Successes
The Young Scholars Program hosted its “Grow Big Dreams Celebration Dinner” at Utica University on Tuesday, showcasing the program’s impact on students. This collaboration between the Utica City School District and Utica University aims to help students earn their New York State Regents Diploma and prepare for college and careers. Executive Director Jordan Peters highlighted that the program has assisted over a thousand students, boasting a 94% graduation rate, significantly above state averages.
